Thank you to the supporters of The Mark Snell Bursary Fund!
The Mark Snell Bursary Fund honours Mark Snell's substantial contribution to the life of Wetherby School, and his impact on the boys and families of Wetherby. The Fund awards life-changing bursaries to talented boys who would not otherwise be able attend Wetherby School. Our goal is to create a sustainable fund that enables one or more Mark Snell awardee(s) to enter the school annually in Year 2. The fund was opened as Mark Snell ended his 17 year tenure as Headmaster.
"On the note of thanks, I would like to thank all of those parents who have very kindly and generously donated to the Mark Snell Bursary Fund. This means a great deal to me."

In Mark’s Own Words
“Wetherby is an amazing school and incredible community of boys, parents and staff. It provides an outstanding education to all of the boys in its care. It is only fitting that we should create a vehicle that will allow us to share this incredible experience with talented boys who could not otherwise afford to join us.
“Those boys will become a part of the Wetherby family that we all value and will benefit in immeasurable ways from being part of this school. They will also add to the life and fabric of our community and add strength to the school.
“I look forward to learning about how each of these boys moves forward through the school and life and will feel grateful that I will have been a part of their successes just as I have done for every Wetherby boy during my time here."
